I bought this laptop a couple of weeks ago i like that it still has windows 7 as i first bought a windows 8 which was so confusing to use. the battery lasts for hours with good graphics so i can watch my tv programs and films.I have found some newer laptops to be heavy for what they are but this one is light and portable which is good for me to take on my train journeys etc. overall a good laptop which meets all my needs.
There is a side number pad included to the side of keyboard, so the keyboard itself is slightly smaller than comparable laptops but I have had no problems typing. I have had no problems either with hardware or software after 18 months and performance still feels fast.
I would recommend it as a reliable and easy to use laptop, the only personal issue I have had is the F1-12 buttons have extra functions rather than the standard. For example, where you could normally press F5 to refresh a webpage, you have to hold down the (Fn) button to use standard F1-12 commands. However, this is also an advantage depending on your preferred functions. For example, the extra functions of F7-F10 are music controls, which makes stopping, starting or changing tracks whilst multi-tasking a lot easier.
I have also extensively used the scroll up and down bar on the trackpad - this is very useful for navigating webpages/reading articles on the go, or if you don't have a mouse.
I usually use the laptop plugged into the mains, so can't really comment on the battery life as I often use the laptop at a desk or in a fairly stationary place.
