Toshiba Tecra 8100 ... brought my toshiba tecra 8100 laptop 1 before Xmas 2005 and I am very impressed with it. The tecra 8100 has a 600 MHz processor and runs very fast compared to my other laptop a Sony vaio which a has 650 MHz and runs very slow If had choice of keeping either the tecra 8100 or the vaio I would choose the tecra 8100 due the performance and the graphics. Compaq Armada M300 ... Encarta to enable her to do her HOMEWORK! And to run the Sims, she’d been asking for this for about 2 years and we were loathed to load it on the family’s computer for fear that nobody else would get a look in! The Computer, we found on E-Bay for £145 plus £18 postage, we were not particularly looking for a Compaq, but rather any Laptop that had a processor that met the Sims minimum requirement ( that being PII 300). The Compaq far surpassed that! And so we went ahead and made the purchase via Paypal on Sunday night and much to our delight it arrive at 7.30am on Tuesday morning. Dell Latitude C610 ... was about 12 months ago that I deceided that I would like to buy a laptop. I wandered that streets and went into ever shop I could think of looking at different laptops, the specs and prices. God there is a lot out there. It took me about 2 weeks to make up my mind and I deceided to go for a Dell. It was a brond name that I reconised and that I have had dealing with before in the way of a desktop. So now what model? Well this was a different kettle of fish, there are so many different models that it is almost impossable to make a choice.
