Sony Vaio A617M ... recently started university and as my laptop broke have had to borrow my dad s vaio. I love this laptop and it s been just a month! It s wide screen makes it so much easier to view documents and webpages and even watch films or tv programmes. The only downside to the vaio is that the battery life isn t all that good. Although admittedly the laptop is a bit too big to carry around and transport to my lectures, it makes up for this in its uses. I have used it to write essays, reports and research outlines. It s quick responses and auto-save option means I don t have to worry about losing work or about errors. The vaio also informs me automatically of updates that are avai... Sony Vaio S3HP ... I bought this laptop the specificatiosn were amongst the best for a laptop with this screen size. As a result I paid a premium price for this product though I cant say I was disappointed. On arriving I was incredibly impressed with quality build of this product. Whilst the laptop was light it managed to do this yet feel both sturdy and well built. 4 years on and I am still using this laptop though I have upgraded the hard drive and memory which is easy enough to do though not recommended during warranty period. Ergo Vista 201 ... is a very simple design, that is also sturdy and inexpensive (with its plastic frame). It is also very functional, with a good sized 15.4" screen. However one thing that could be said is that it is not a show piece. But for a reasonable price that isn t what you expect. With a good range of features including wi-fi, 512mb ram memory and intel centrino it is a good all round laptop. The graphics are also very good and it offers a good powerful performance. It has a fairly long lasting battery as well for up to around 4 hours. Another good thing is that it doesnt get over heated at all really, even if it is left plugged in and left on for several hours.
