Lenovo Thinkpad T42 2373:
... have been using T42 for over four years. it is not heavy and very reliable. it can work normally for so long time and never hurt me. Every time I fly, I take it. The layout design is attractive. it has 512Mb ram which c... Read the full review: Very reliable product by fishluck |

IBM Thinkpad T42 2373 ... is a leading brand for laptops! I bought my own T42 over four years ago with the price of over 2000 dollars. The first overall impression was not so good because the whole color is totally black. Why not colorful? I was confused at the first catch. Soon I realized the color is attractive and I enjoy it greatly. It is not easy to look dirty and it is always strong! My laptop never has any problem even though I always takes it when I fly! So it is very reliable and works good for business. Besides, it has an independent graphic card therefore the image and video quality is quite satisfactory. The weight 2.4 kg is not very heavy and the LCD monitor does not ref... Read the full review: Thinkpad rocks by fishluck |

Lenovo Thinkpad T43 1871 ... let me point out that as with all IBM/Lenovo laptops, the exact specifications are variable, depending on the options selected at time of purchase. For example, according to the specifications above, the T43 1871 has an 80GB hard drive and a DVD Writer - whereas despite being labelled as a model 1871, my machine has only a 20 GB hard-drive and a CD writer. The rest of the specifications here on this site seem to match though. There are a few different things that you can consider when purchasing a laptop, depending on the primary purpose you have in mind. The Lenovo T-Series is primarily designed as a business range - they tend to have more "business"... Read the full review: T43 - no, that's not a Cyberdyne Systems model number by Rocketeer007 |

Samsung Q1 ... couple of years ago I was very annoyed when someone stole my laptop and I didn t have a particularly big budget to replace it. I needed something small, but at the time small meant expensive. Then the Samsung Q1 emerged on the scene, with a 7" screen (3 inches smaller than my missing laptop) and what looked to be very impressive portability, all at a good price. Well the specs on the laptop weren t great, it had 512MB as standard, upgradable to 1GB if you were brave enough to take the whole case apart (I was, it was fine). The HD wasn t too shocking for a tiny laptop, 40GB when 60GB was about the limit in 10" and lower notebooks. The processor was an Intel ...
