very unreliable, slow laptop (Philips Freevents X50)
Member Name: DonBrown
Advantages: easy to use, light to carry Disadvantages: slow, doesnt run programs properly This laptop, in all honesty performs poorly. it was great for the first few months - really quick (which is the first thing i look for in a laptop) and very easy to use. I have the Vista system which is great too. But after a while the speed deteriorates very quickly to the point where the some of the programs are "i want to hit the screen" frustrating. im sure this isnt just my impatience as it has frozen twice already as i write this review! the running of programs on this is truly ridiculous. i have little music, no movies, great antivirus software and it cant properly install an Ea Sports game, when i got the done finally there was copias amounts of screen jutters during the game play and some times it literally stopped working and closed the program. i assure you its the computer and not the game asn my friends now runs the game on his applemac and loves it! Summary: by another better quality laptop i suggest sony
