Where do I start? A great laptop for a great price! $700 and up.

What does this badboy have?
Of course Intel Core 2 Duo, 1066 MHz, and 3GB of memory. Dont forget the 320 GB hard drive capacity. Reliable, and gets the job done. Memory could be a little bigger, but not bad at all. If you need the extra space, a 4GB version is available. I personally prefer using external hard drives to store the bulk of the files.

It can be carried with little effort, being about 4 pounds, and having a screen size of 14.1 inches. Not the most portable baby in the bunch, but it works.
The keyboard is slick and the touchpad is great. Unlike many laptops I have had, I actually enjoy typing on this thing! Very easy and efficient. The screen is very nice, and is great for working outdoors. Some laptops out there are useless in the sunlight because the glare prevents you from seeing anything on the screen. This screen is perfect, and I enjoy bringing it on camping trips.

The only slight problem I see with this laptop is overheating. It hasnt overheated on me, but it does sometimes get quite hot if left on for extended amounts of time. This doesnt bother me too much becuase I prefer to keep my laptop hibernated or shut off when I am not using it. It's better for the computer and your electricity bill!
The webcam, microphone, and fingerprint readers are excellent add on devices that I enjoy with this laptop. The fingerprint reader is very convenient when I need to log into many different accounts online, and all I need is a quick swipe to access my email. Also, for a laptop, the speakers are quite good. I was surprised how loud it could get when I hooked it up to my bigscreen TV to watch a movie. I didnt need to plug in my speakers! The audio is very clear, and definitely gets a gold star from me.

Overall, I give it an A++

Finally a laptop I can truly depend on, and keep for more than a year!
