The Samsung R780 is a good all-round laptop for either the novice computer user or the more experienced who may want a little more out of their computing experience. The red casing makes it stand out from the crowd and the 17.3" screen size is large and clear. The battery life is good and the sound and screen brightness are easily adjusted. The DVD drive works quickly and efficiently at both playing and burning to DVD and the laptop does not suffer from overheating (as many others do!) This Laptop is definatley near the top of the range at the moment and the price may put a few people off. However if you can afford to spend a little bit more then this laptop is deifnatley worth it. To start with it looks nice and is a relativley small size, although some people may be put off by the red colour. The processor and Ram make sure that everything is done at top speed. Browsing the internet and copy files is done at lightening speed and is a refreshing change if you re used to using an older laptop! Samsung R70

I ve owned my Samsung R70 Laptop for almost a year now, and found it to be a fantastic investment for home and work use. The system is very quick to boot up, and still seems to run just as smoothly as when I first purchased it. When the battery is fully charged, it can usually run for about two to two and a half hours before I have to plug it in at the mains. I would recommend using the laptop on a flat, firm surface as much as possible, as it does tend to get very hot if access to the vents on the bottom is restricted.
