Advantages: Sleek, Attractive, Lightweight, Ease of Use, Advanced, Good Price

Disadvantages: None........ (yet!)

I haven't been on Dooyoo for a while for a mixture of reasons... One being that BT had damaged my laptop after accessing it via remote assistance online, meaning it refused to work for months... and then when I moved back (after my house had been rebuilt) the BT exchange was apparently full meaning I could not get online anyway!!!

Anyhow... months later now that I am finally online, I felt it only appropriate to review my fabulous new laptop!!

Other than being aesthetically pleasing, it is gorgeous to the touch too.
You can see the spec on the system or other sites, so I won't bore anyone with those details -mainly because these are not the things I looked at too heavily when choosing this piece of machinery. I was interested in the Quad (i5 core) which from what I understand is quite advanced and means the system works much better than Core 2 Duo does (which is what I had previously had) and with fewer faults than the newer i7... - in all honesty, I don't use my laptop for more than accessing the net and writing a few reviews (although not done much of that lately), revision for exams and some accountancy related spreadsheets for exams. Having said that, according to the guy in Comet, it would allow me to use the dedicated graphics card when I come to do my own presentations for my accountancy degree, meaning the system would still run quite quickly, and from what I understand, the Quad system would mean that the speed is unaffected if I am using multiple applications.

When I set this up, it didn't take too long, and it did ask me if I wanted to split the hard-drive, meaning that if it ever stopped working, it would automatically have backed everything up and I would just be able to load everything up from that back-up... pretty good I thought considering how stressed I got from losing everything the last time and while I haven't had the misfortune to use this (yet) I am hopeful that if I ever have to, then it will be a convenient enough process.

Set up was relatively easy and I just got on with using the internet and installing Office (easy enough). I really do like Windows 7 which takes some getting used to, but now that I have, I love it too... I guess there will always be things that I stand to learn with this laptop - especially as it is quite new to me and I am using functions and programmes that I either need, or am familiar with, rather than getting to know everything about it, but that would have been the case regardless of whichever laptop I had chosen.

All in all, I love the screen, which is sleek and smooth, the exterior is different while being attractive and the keypad while larger than what I was
previously used to, is so easy to use and easy to clean (yes, that is the OCD side of me... wanting it all clean and dust-free!!). The battery lasts absolutely ages and it feels good to the touch. The scratchpad/mouse is hidden away making it attractive to me also as I like the minimalistic look/feel. I would highly recommend this laptop to anyone looking for something either high powered, or not. I've not had this one too long but already I love it!!) It is also lighter meaning that I don't feel bogged down by it either which is worth mentioning as some of the laptops I was looking down looked and felt (and were) quite clunky and heavy

All in all - I love this piece of machinery and hope it lasts a very long time!!!
