I bought this myself in December after I returned to university I needed a laptop to for use of internet and to write assignments etc. Visually this little number is pleasing, mine is pink and I purchased a bag to carry it in... it is a little weighty but I think this is good as I don't forget i'm carrying it and become flippant.. its too expensive to damage!
The battery life isn't great, I usually charge overnight so I can be portable the following day, however it only lasts approx. 5 hours. The screen is great, colourful and bright.
My DVD drive is faulty and sometimes when I put a DVD/CD in I have to open and close the drawer several times before it will read the disc, I have contacted the manufacturer about the problem but as I don't use the DVD drive much it seems like its more hassle than its worth to send it off to get fixed.
I also find that if i'm not on a flat surface the mouse pad doesn't work correctly, when I move my finger across it the arrow on screen may not move at all or move in a different direction.. slightly frustration when I'm on the bus.
All in all this notebook does the job, however I'm not convinced it's worth the expense!
I bought it for myself couple of weeks ago. The main purpose was for surfing the net/e-mails and it's doing it's job well. This is isn't the cheapest notebook for this spec's but the good look is not cheap.
It's one the slimmest laptops/notebooks i've ever had. And it is easy to carry, but I suggest to buy a bag too. I really like the keyboard - big, isolated buttons, there wont be any dirt under them + the touchpad is very big. The battery life isn't long enough for me, it lasts only for 3-4 hours, but i guess for some users it is okay. It works really fast, as mine has 6GB of RAM, i really like it! Another good thing is the screen, it's LED and really bright, so you can enjoy all your HD videos and pictures. After all said it's pretty good notebook, but you can something similar for less money.
