After owning a number of bulkier and heavier laptops over the years, I wanted to find an Ultrabook with would serve me well and also would not break the bank. I have had this Ultrabook now for 9 months and it is as good as I had wanted it to be.
Firstly it comes with a mid range i5 processor which although it won't give you lightening fast breakneck speeds, it still provides you with a smooth and efficient experience. It has a 500gb hard drive which I find impressive for an Ultrabook of this size and also a 16gb solid state drive for a quick boot up.
The keyboard is nicely layed out with good sized keys and well spaced out for accurate and comfortable typing. The trackpad is nice and large with strong left side and right side buttons and is positioned well to work with the keyboard.
On the downside the appearance will split opinions. Some will see it as quite boring and bland, whilst others (including me) will like the simple and functional design. It is slightly bulkier than other Ultrabooks, but is still very thin and portable and I actually prefer this to the fragile feel of other thin Ultrabooks.
On other disappointment is the microphone. The quality is woeful and could leave you feeling a bit frustrated if you plan to use a service like Skype with this.
Overall I think that while this Ultrabook will not blow you away, it will be a solid and reliable hard working machine.
