During this review I will dicuss the following:

- my experience with the use of computers

- the use of the Samsung V20 laptop computer

- the computers functions

- problems which I have encountered

- if I think it was worth the money

MY EXPERIENCE
-------------------

Being born in the age of the computer has meant that I have seen the growth of the PC and the internet, from the Sinclair Spectrum 128K up to the power of a Pentium 4 2Ghz processor.

I have used PC's all my life, through my education, and continue to use them everday. Having never owned a laptop before I might not be the worlds best expert, but I do know what is good, and what is NOT!

THE USE OF THE SAMSUNG V20
-------------------------------------

Using this laptop to do day to day work on, have not played games using this computer, but in terms of good points these come to mind.

* Nice LARGE screen display

* Plenty of software avaialble

* Large HardDrive to store all of the images, and DVD files as you RIP them ;)

* Well designed and aesthetically pleasing

* 2 USB ports available plus explansion bay

* DVD/Cd-R drive with FAST read and write speeds

* Quite mechanisms including the keys which are light to react :)

THE LAPTOPS SPEC
----------------------

DVD/CDr Drive

20Gig hard drive

2Ghz Processor (Pentium 4)

TFT-LCD Screen

250mg RAM

NO Floppy Disk drive :(

PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED
------------------------------

The only main problems are the battery life, which is shorter than they tell you. You can get over this problem to a certain degree by lowering the light levels of the screen, although this is not good for your eyes i am told!

Often when using the touchpad to select items i knock the roller which is used in webpage
viewing as with a mouse roller. This was annoying at first, but I have become aware of it now and work around the button.

IS IT WORTH THE CA$H?
-----------------------------

Well I would say yes, I spent the money on the thing a couple of months ago and it has been a great help in day to day work. I did speak to other friends who had laptops, I also looked through all that was avaialbe to see about the spec related to the price. All in all I found that this laptop, at the time, was the best deal for the money.

Its up to you, but do look through all the BIG names to compare their prices before you decide, different companies sell the same thing @ different prices:

Nice clean layout but not enough information to make this a VU op. If possible product comparisons, running speeds and what you use if for and how well it performs those functions would have made this more useful!
