Good for its age (Samsung V25 XVC 2000c)

Advantages: style, reliability, range of ports Disadvantages: weight, fragile power connector, wireless
This laptop was dead cheap to buy, end of line display model in comet. Only £300. Bought it as a birthday present about 4 years ago. The laptop looks very pleasant and the keyboard is nice to type with. The screen is only 15" though with no coating. The laptop is very heavy, it is really not ideal for travelling long distances with. The touch pad is tempromental, the mouse cursor jumps around on the screen. The supposedly present 802.11b connection never worked at any point. The fan noise is good however the fans are placed in at the top meaning that it gets very hot and blocked up with dust. The speed is, or was, good running XP but was soon ruined by the latest software demanding more memory. What finished off the machine is the power connector snapping off, obviosly it is very fragile, someone tripped over the cable resulting in it snapping. Summary: Good for its age but bad in many ways
