We have bought a sony vaio laptop from the guys at sony. to cut a long story short they are the most awful pieces of kit I have ever seen. they crash all the time, wont turn off without taking out the battery and refuse to function unless attached to their not very portable docking stations - so technically they are not 'lap' tops at all. I wouldn't buy a vaio now if they were giving them away in a box of cornflakes. sony's response to this - no apology just a technical support number - as if thewir guys on the phone would be able to fix something which 4 trained IT guys could not fix in 'realtime'. sort it out sony you are crap.
