Other disappointing aspects of this laptop are poor battery life (although not much worse than the advertised 100minutes to be fair), and sometimes mediocre performance despite an apparently good processor and graphics card. Poor battery life is to be expected as this is really a desktop replacement and not strictly a portable laptop at 3.9kg. I've had the Aw11 for best part of 9 months so have had a good chance to get a feel for the good and bad of the product. I was drawn to the laptop because I saw the standard model in a shop (AW11M) which had the single lamp version of the screen and thought it would be great for graphics work. The added bonuses of this version (AW11Z) are the slightly faster processor, 2 hard disks, dedicated CF card slot (sd and memory stick are also covered) as well as blu ray reader/writer. All these elements work very well in this laptop. I was also keen to have the dual-lamp screen available in this model as I felt that this would be great for the graphics ...
