expect to be satisfied with performance rather than blown away by it. The Vaio is a refined-looking laptop, quite elegant in design. The casing feels solid although weight might be an issue if resting on your lap for extended use. Keyboard has a nice response, touchpad and buttons are intuitive, the big screen fills the inside lid with a shiny glass surface rather than matt which can, with a dark image, result in room reflections, but even so, and realising it s a squarish rather than wide-screen display, it makes watching DVD playback an enjoyable experience. Yes, you heard correctly; the XG29 Vaio is better than you. It is smarter than you and it is much better looking than you are. In fact, the VAIO probably has more character than you do. Sorry, and yes, it did hurt for me to break all of that to you. However, most of it is true. I came upon the VAIO when I needed to replace my Dell laptop (For reasons explained in a previous epinion) and since my company was paying, well, I decided that I would go for the best laptop that I could find. No fiddling with serial ports - just whack the memory stick into the laptop and you're sorted. 3. An integral network connection means no nasty network cards. So, that's why I bought it. Any good?
