sony is one of the major leaders in the computer industry, with over 50 years of experience. This model has a proccessor "core 2 duo T7200" which is the second latest of its technology next to quad core (which is only avialable for desktop computers) The proccesor lets you do many things all one time. It has massive storage ram of 2GB which is more than the average desktop computer. I would never see the computer again. I now have a 40 gig h/d instead of a 30 gig. I ve used it for all kinds of work and plugged it into a projector for presentations. All worked well. I would like to see at least one more USB slot and a connector similar to the additional monitor slot but the other way round, if you know what I mean. I bought a Sony Vaio PCG laptop for £1,350 in 2003 having chosen the machine mainly for its large, high-resolution screen (16inch, 1600 x 1200) and in the belief that Sony laptops were some of the most reliable on the market. However, when the computer was just over 14 months old (not quite three months out of warranty), the keyboard failed completely, and I had to purchase an external USB keyboard to be able to continue using it. I wrote to Sony, arguing that such a major fault was unacceptable, and asked them to repair the product at their own expense.
