Rating:
Sony Vaio CR31Z/R Sony has launched some luxurious notebooks since last couple of years, and the CR series from Sony became more popular in these days. Looks and feel are extremely good in this series. Sony has mainly targeted on solid looking notebooks with adequate features and latest technology also. In this series the new model Vaio CR31Z now in market with fully featured and configured. * Here is again my discussion points will be its good features with advantages and disadvantages also. First of all I always use to target my first discussion on processor of any notebook, because it is more important in all features at all. So here is also a good processor we can ...

Rating:
Being given a Sony Vaio is like aquiring a work of art. Design as well as functionality is at the heart of the Vaio. The Z600TEK is a master of the functionality within the smallest area possible. The array of connection options allow this to be a workhorse of any notebook arena. Connections for memorystick, firewire, usb, ...

Sony Vaio Z600TEK
by Jon Tech - written on 01/04/01 (Very useful, 3685 readings)
Rating:
I looked long & hard before settling on the Z600 to replace my Vaio 505SN (PII 400). Compared with the other 'super compact' models I looked at from Toshiba, Sony, Asus etc - the Z600 felt streets ahead on build quality. As with my 505SN the magnesium case gives a solid, high quality feel without actually making the unit heavy! The mains transformer is larger than my previous Vaio. It is considerably heavier too. The DC power connector is now more substantial and less fiddly to connect which has to be a plus. Toshiba have a model of a similar size to the Z600LEK / HEK which has internal DVD, but IMHO the Sony is miles ahead on build quality. On-board ...
