I bought this laptop almost a year ago for £899 to use at university. I have used it every day for various tasks and have never had any problems with it.
The laptop is a metallic baby pink colour on the outer casing and a lighter pink on the inside, which would appeal to a many different females. Although it is pink it still looks proffessional so could be used in the office as well as at home. The model also comes in other colours including black and red which may appeal more to men.
This product has many built in features including a wireless internet and a built in camera. I have found the camera useful for talking to friends and family via MSN whilst i have been away at university, however at times i have found that the camera will not work with MSN especially after it has been used with the program supplied by Sony.
The keyboard is a metallic silver colour and is easy to use requiring only a very light touch to operate. The screen is very clear and the brightness can be changed easily to suit your needs.
The battery usually lasts around 3 hours when using the internet or Microsoft office and there is an image which notifies you of the estimated battery life left, this image changes when the laptop has 30 minutes left, giving the user adequate time to save their documents or locate a power supply.
The laptop comes with Windows vista installed and a trial version of Microsoft office, which would be very useful for someone who had never used office before. It also comes with the standard programs that usually come with a new computer such as Paint.
Overall i have found this laptop to be an excellent 'buy', have never had any problems with it and receive many comments about its lovely appearance.
