I bought this for my wife, so got the white cos it looks nice. I now work for myself and she lets me use it, and not sure white is such a cool colour for me! Hey, it's a laptop, and it works - what more is there to say? It is pricier than some other models that look like they have similar spec. But I asked the sales guy (at John Lewis, and they are normally pretty honest) whether you pay for the Sony name or whether it is worth it, and he said it is definitely a better model than the lower priced competition.
