Sony Vaio FE31M

Rating:
a laptop. I searched high and low, reading reviews, checking prices and constantly trying to decide which one I wanted to spend £1000 on. I eventually came across the Sony Vaio FE31M. After spending nearly £1000, I could only think that it had better be worth it. 3 years later, I can confidently say that yes, it was. Sony Vaio s are quite expensive in comparison to other laptops, but the build quality, features, style and reliability are worth it. Over the last 3 years I have had no problems at all. I do not treat my belongings very carefully, yet the Sony has shown no sign of wear and tear, no slow down in speed (although I do keep it updated and protected) and ...

I ve only ever had one desktop PC, the rest have been laptops. So far I ve had a Samsung (rubbish), two Packard Bells (ok) and now this Sony Vaio FE21S that I ve had coming up for two years. I think I paid around £1200 for the laptop at PC World. The cover is a light grey, with VAIO imprinted in shiny silver. The keyboard part is light grey, with the same colour touchpad. The touchpad has two long buttons below it, one for left mouse click, one for right mouse click. There are 5 small round buttons above the keyboard. One for mute, two for increasing and decreasing volume, and two buttons which can be set to the shortcuts of your choice. The on/off button is on the ...

I have had my Vaio laptop for almost a few years now and strikingly my laptop has not encountered any typical Windows Crash style problems -so already a minor plus point there. Set-up was easy and self-explanatory thanks to tutorials and wizards (and partially my own computer skills). Features are not stunning from the off but it is adaptable and can include new programs, e.g. I m running Google Chrome browser perfectly on it. I have been using it for Internet research for my student essays etc. and word processing mainly (and occasional gaming - of standards like Hitman: Blood Money) and it has handled all these very well. It has certainly weathered time well, it ...
