would not buy again but a good laptop!

urgh, hate is not the word for this laptop!! i loved it when i first bought it but now, like i said in the title, im surpised it hasn't been thrown out the window yet, because trust me i've been temped plenty of times! Yes it's a nice design and small enough to take on road trips, but still big enough to use properly, but SO SO SO MANY PROBLEMS!!
personally i have had 3 vaio laptops now (this being the third) and i have had problems with each and every one! one had crashed completely and won't turn on any more, and i hadn't had it that long at all, and the other did the exact same thing apart from it would turn on after about half an hour. I have had them sent off to get fixed but came back broken every time. I finally got fed up with wasting my money trying to fix it and bought this one, giving vaio one last chance. This laptop however, well where do i begin? If it is on for more than, about an hour, it starts making this clicking noise which gets louder so i have to turn it off if not i'm afraid it's going to blow up or something. If it is unplugged from it's charger for more than 5 minutes it will turn off. If i move it or pick it up it crashes (which is so annoying because i have to sit very still when using it). and personally i HATE the keys, i just find it very hard to use, although some people may like it because they keys are spread out. Although saying all this, it does have it's good points! the touch pad is very good at being responsive, you can zoom using your fingertips which is pretty cool and could keep someone like me, who is easily entertained, amused for quite a while! it has a built in microphone, webcam and built in speakers which are all good quality! The battery is ment to last for 226 minutes, which should give you plenty of time to do what you need to do! The operating system is Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Edition. There is a 'Display Off' button which turns off the screen, but doesnt turn off the computer, which is very useful, I would recommend using this when listening to music (if you're not using the computer for anything else) because it saves battery life! it comes in a variety of colours (i had the red one) and when playing games the graphics are brilliant! The screen is a good size to watch movies on (14inch) and has 4GB of RAM which makes it good for multitasking. The size of it is easy to get along with, it's a good size to travel with so everyone is happy! Overall it would be an amazing computer if it didn't have all of the problems it has!! If it didn't have all of the problems I wouldn't have had to buy a completely different computer (dell inspiron - best computer i've had!!) i would never go back to a vaio product only because of all the problems i have had. But some people i know have had no problems with vaio, i must just be an unlucky person!

Really good laptop that can be taken anywhere

When I first found this laptop on the internet i knew it was the one for me. With 4gb of Memory, a 500gb hard drive, Nividia Graphics card, Bu-Ray drive and built in Bluetooth and Webcam I knew that it would be the perfect laptop. Also I couldn't believe that they could fit all these specifications in a 14 inch laptop. The Final deal that made me buy this laptop though was windows 7 home premium 64 bit that would run any one of my applications with unbelievable speed. When I first opened this laptop up I found 3 buttons.
One of these buttons was the "Web" button. When this button is pressed it opens up a web browser without starting up the operating system. When i picked up my stopwatch it took 15 seconds to load up and connect to the internet. This not only saves time when you want to just check the internet but also saves power also.
The seconds one of these buttons is the "Display Off" Button. This button shuts the laptop screen off but keeps the whole computer running as normal. This button is very useful if you are listening to music as you can press it and it will save battery but play your music as normal.
The Third of these buttons is the "Vaio" button. this loads up the sony vaio media gallery. This is an alternate way to view photos, music and videos on the laptop.
Overall this is a brilliant laptop. With such high specifications it can power the same applications as your desktop but in a 14 inch laptop you can take it anywhere.
There are only two problems i have found with this laptop computer. The first of these problems is three usb ports. Personally this is a little bit of a hinderance as i occasionally need more. The other problem is the Battery. The average Battery life i have found out of this is 2 and a half hours. This is alright for a laptop but if the battery could last for 4 hours this laptop could be the best laptop in the world.
