Advantages: Great look, Processing power, Memory

Disadvantages: Needs Higher Graphics Memory, and Longer Batter Life

The Sony Vaio E Series VPC-EB1Z0E/B is an incredibly stylish laptop that can handle almighty amounts of tasks. I have been using this laptop for about 7 months now, and paid around £800 for it.

I brought this laptop, not only for its looks, but the brand new i5 processor, the large hard drive capacity, and the decent graphics card. I had shopped around a fair bit and this seemed to be one of the best for the price it was. I have played some high-spec games on this computer, and they look extremely good on the 15.4" HD screen.

The ultimately best feature about this laptop has to be the built in Blu-Ray player. It plays all blu-ray films on not only its screen, but also through large televisions via the HMDI port. The display on the laptop is a widescreen one which is nice to work with because of the large display.

The laptop is very shiny and sleek, and one that you will want to take care of well. It seems like a material that would scratch easily, though I have not experienced this yet. It is very light which is great for me and anyone else who will be carrying it around alot.

The laptop has a good processor, one that will happily cope with multiple tasks at once without compromising computer speed. The laptop is good at playing games, though the graphics card memory is only 500MB which isn't enough to play some games at full spec (which means no HD games). The 500GB hard drive is plenty enough for the majority of people and I'm not even half way to filling it with all the music, videos and other work that I have on here.

The laptop runs Windows 7 which I think is a superb operating system. The laptop comes with a lot of VAIO exclusive software, such as VAIO Gate which is a new version of the taskbar which pops down when the mouse is scrolled to the top. There are also some VAIO media programs which are a great alternative to iTunes and Windows Media Player and look exactly the same as a PS3 home screen.

I would recommend this laptop to anybody with the budget required for it, though if you are into gaming then you may wish to step it up and get a better graphics card with it. I believe if you go to Sony Style you can customise this laptop and get a better graphics card with it for a bit more money.

The final downside to this laptop is the Battery. For me it will only last around an hour and a half. Though i do run it on the High Performance battery setting, so you may find that it works better as you reduce the power settings, though the performance of the laptop is compromised.
