Introduction

I purchased the Sony Vaio EH Series Laptop (Model Number VPCEH2F1E/PCG-71911M) from Littlewoods catalogue for £499 in August 2012. I currently use the Sony Vaio EH Series Laptop to complete work from home. I mainly use the laptop to use Microsoft Word to type letters and documents and Microsoft Excel to update spreadsheets.

Look and Feel

The screen of the laptop is 15.5 inches and as I have bad eyesight, this screen size is very suitable for me. The laptop has black outer casing with a tortoise shell effect and this design is on the keyboard as well. The dimensions of the laptop is 37 cm (width)x 24.8 cm (diameter) x 3.1 cm (height). The laptop is lightweight and not heavy to carry around and only weighs 2.7kg.

Memory / Capacity / Speed

The Sony Vaio EH Series Laptop (Model Number VPCEH2F1E/PCG-71911M) has a very good operating system which is Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit). The processor is Intel Core i3. The memory is 4GB RAM and the storage is 320GB Hard Drive.

Comfort & Portability & Ease of Use

The laptop is very comfortable to use. The touch pad for mouse movement on the laptop is very spacious and responsive and the buttons for left and right clicking is also very effective and much more responsive than other laptops that I own. The battery power is very good and can last up to four hours.

Robustness and Durability

The laptop is very robust and durable. This is the most recent laptop that I have brought and it is currently performing better than all the other laptops in the house, even though the laptop is in the same price range. There is advice on the underneath section of the laptop advising that the base can get hot and that the laptop should be operated on a hard, flat surface and that the vents should be kept clear.

Range of Extra Features

The laptop has a range of extra features. This includes quick web access which has a button specifically for internet access and enables one touch internet in seconds. The laptop has four usb ports and one HDMI ports. The laptop also has an on/off switch (move right to switch on and left to switch off) for wireless internet on the front side of the laptop. Next to the wireless switch there is an SD card slot. The Sony Vaio EH Series Laptop (Model Number VPCEH2F1E/PCG-71911M) has been made in China.

Conclusion

Overall, I have been very pleased about purchasing the Sony Vaio EH Series Laptop and wouldn't hesitate about buying another laptop from the supplier.
