I bought this Laptop around 4 years ago as a replacement to an old Acer. I bought it for the crisp clear screen that at the time I could find nothing comparable, I had been in all the electrical stores and only the Sonys stood out. When I first got it it was fast, easy to set up and had all the necessary programs installed. With the widescreen it was perfect for me to watch DVDs and play games. I was also able to write my masters thesis on this with split screen and able to see both documents very easily. I used this as my only computer for several years and it was very a good computer. Being a large machine it isn t that easy to transport and is fairly heavy and ...

This provides an outstanding visual experience. Colour contrast & brightness when watching movies are faultless. ~Keyboard/Touch pad: Response from the touch pad ...

read on for this 2005 model. I think Sony are generally much better than the dell, hp etc bunch however they are much more expensive. However, the biggest advantage S Sony Vaio laptops have over most other laptops are their excellent screens which are magnitudes brighter and more vivid than the lacklustre generic technology screens of HP, Toshiba etc. I still cannot get used to the dramatically disappointing screens of the latest generations of non-sony laptops and netbooks compared to my 5 year old laptop. The laptop also excels in the looks department with a grey and black combination finish which looks quite cool. Tapping the trackpad registers as a mouse click which ...
