Advantages: Versatile, Compact, Powerful.

Disadvantages: Not Wireless

Bought this laptop over two years ago - its still going strong (touch wood.
I am not what you would call a computer expert - but i do need to use a computer quite a lot for work (teacher). I feel the FX702 offers me everything i need and sometimes more. It is much easier to use than a desktop for obvious reasons and we are able to change its location around the house/work at will.
I have used the FX702 to my limit which i dare say it has handled easily - i generally research info from the internet - compile data through word or excel - formulate data into graphs for presentation and the odd shop through ebay.
My partner also uses the FX702 and has no problem withit at all.
Generally we are very pleased with our purchase and would not hesitate to reccommend!
One thing we did for security was opt for a warranty scheme through PC World - as on our last computer we had some major problems - this is very helpful and if your knowledge of computers is limited - would be useful.
My only quarm is the wires!

Grahamt asks some good questions there. Let me know if you update, or would like some more suggestions. I used to love the Sony brand of laptops, but they changed a lot over the years.

I'm sure you could have told us a lot more about it that would have been of interest!

Screen size? Number of USB ports? Supports Bluetooth? Built-in webcam? Hard Drive size? PCMCIA supported? Processor and speed? Price?

I've looked at Sony laptops in the past but have always found them well over-priced for their specification. For sure there is better value for money.
