This laptop falls apart!! I've had so many problems with it in the year that I've owned it - I really wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The disc drive is very temperamental - as I type it is not working! Additionally, the speakers sometimes just stop working, very randomly, then come on again without warning. The battery life is also very, VERY poor. A positive aspect of this laptop is that it is very fast and can handle many applications at once. I love music so am constantly downloading from the internet and this seems to have no effect on other applications such as watching movies, using word or playing games. I bought this laptop last year and it works really well, it loads up within minutes. The processor is an Intel Core 2 Duo, running at 2GHz, which is a good speed, considering it's dual core (which is about 40% quicker than single core). The 2GB RAM is good enough for online gaming as well as surfing the net, without experiencing any problems whatsoever. It is also possible to expand the memory to 4GB max, so in a way they have made it future proof. The 160GB hardrive is more than adequate for storing many word documents, music and video's, however, can be expanded. The Sony Vaio FZ21E is perhaps one of the easiest laptops I've ever used. The laptop has a 15.4" monitor with X-black LCD giving you a world of crisp, clean colour.
