Advantages: Full HD, onboard webcam, excellent solid feel

Disadvantages: Battery life

I bought this laptop last year and it works really well, it loads up within minutes. The processor is an Intel Core 2 Duo, running at 2GHz, which is a good speed, considering it's dual core (which is about 40% quicker than single core). The 2GB RAM is good enough for online gaming as well as surfing the net, without experiencing any problems whatsoever. It is also possible to expand the memory to 4GB max, so in a way they have made it future proof. The 160GB hardrive is more than adequate for storing many word documents, music and video's, however, can be expanded.

When I bought this laptop it had one of the best graphic cards around, for all you gamers out there, this is a definite bonus! To this day, I have not encountered any game/program that doesn't support it.

The range on the wifi is pretty good. The fact that i can plug into LCD TV is an excellent feature. DVD quality is excellent due to the full HD (1080) capability. Brilliant screen size (15.4" TFT 1280x800). It looks smart and sleek and has good solid keys. The keyboard spacing is adequate, for a laptop.

The operating system is Windows Vista Home Premium edition, which complements the machine.

The portability of the laptop is great. The Webcam provides an excellent feature, which I make full use of in conjunction with Skype. The integrated camera is 1.3 megapixel, which suffices, but you can always go further and add an external one.

On the downside, the laptop screen attracts alot of dust due to it being the black screen addition. The battery life is limited to about an hour, depending on how many programs you're running. You would expect a laptop of this price to have bluetooth capability, but sadly this doesn't and it is a feature that I would like to have seen. It is quite pricey, but if you want quality, this is it. When I bought this laptop ot retailed at around £800 but you can pick one up now for just over £600.

Summary: Well worth the money if you want a durable laptop
