Advantages: Styleish and reliable

Disadvantages: To small Ram

having owned this particular Sony Vaio laptop for 2 months now i would like to think that i have gained a good insight into its pro's and con's. first off I'm more of a desktop person and only use it for work and not gaming.
For this function as a word processor it is a good value laptop that has the Pedigree of being a Sony. it does however fall a bit short on the speed. now this may be effected because of the Windows vista and only a comparitivly small amount of ram. 1GB is not enough when Vista eats up half of it to just run.
Given that it still manages to play some basic games and plays dvds fine. its slyeish and easy to use with a battery life of 2-3 hours.

Summary: Good value for Sony Vaio laptop

The same as sweetdaisy really - needs a lot more detail. If you add a bit more let me know and I will re-rate. Welcome to Dooyoo and good luck! Jo

Might be a good idea to install Windows XP on there instead. It has all the features you need and has far lower specification requirements - in fact, it's what I use on the 333mhz, 128mb PC I'm writing this comment on right now.
