Rating:
software programs for the use of photo editing, illustration, website design and other programs that like to use ram can become very frustrating when only having little memory, but this Vaio laptop with its 1GB (2GB max) of DDR II memory is more that certainly cut out for the job, and Its got a large 15" inch widescreen crisp clear display that is capable of displaying almost all programs with no problems at all. Conectivity to the laptop is very reasonable with four ubs ports and one fire wire port (4 pin), you will never be without a port spare. It also has two memory card readers (for SD and also MS) and an express card slot (as broadband internet become more ...

having to juggle the whole thing around to find the ports on the back. The laptop is quite fast although does speed up quite significantly once the bundled Vaio software is removed. The laptop is also very quiet meaning i can leave it on overnight sometimes and it wont be constantly waking me up. The boot up speed is also incredably fast compared to past PC s and Laptops i have used, meaning it is no longer as much of a problem after i have installed a new program. Sometimes however i seem to get small program errors, programs not reponding etc.... The onboard graphics card isnt the best ever, but they never are on laptops. I was able to play several games quite ...

Rating:
this notebook for about 6 months and it's given me perfect service. The priority for me was as light as possible, XGA (1024x768 pixel display), 128MB RAM and ethernet. The Sony is incredibly light - so much so that I cannot feel it in my bag and frequently check that I didn't forget in in a meeting. It is tiny, yet the display is more than adequate as I always sit with my hands on the keyboard when looking at it i.e. I do not use it for on-screen presentations. The fit and finish is outstanding. I've owned many laptops and they have all been plasticy and shoddy in some way (except the Apple powerbook admittedly) and have skimped somewhere along the line. Not ...
