A Sony Vaio , at a decent price for once, Sony laptops tend to be priced around the brand name and not the spec which is unfortunate, but this laptop is different. At £556 on Amazon, it would be a great Christmas laptop, birthday, or whatever, it s just lovely. Specification: Laptops can be very similar at this price range, anything above a core 2 Duo (quad core) is going to cost a lot more. This laptop is packing an Intel core 2 duo T6600 running at 2.2ghz with 2mb cache which is perfect. In short, you have a very fast, energy efficient processor. The combination of this and the 4gb of ram goes surprisingly well. It s straight out of the box with windows 7 home premium ...

any program under the sun, from the most basic word processors to the top notch games. This though isn t as large as the RAM can get on a Sony Vaio laptop, but it is all that is necessary as it would be such a struggle to find a program which required more RAM. Other plus points include the use of windows 7 and the 320GB hard drive. Ok lets be fair here to other laptops, windows 7 should be coming pre installed anyway nowadays, and 320GB isn t a large amount of memory, but on the plus side these are both enough for most people. Of course if you plan on downloading loads of games and movies etc and hate the windows 7 operating system these can been seen as negative ...
