Sony Vaio TT21JN/B

I brought this Vaio a year ago and usually most my laptops have been Sony vaios as I find them very elegent to look at. The only dislike I have about this laptop is when booted up the start time takes a long time, around 10 seconds, and I would have to wait till all the applications are all loaded and ready to work, some of this is due to my own fault as I have quite a few applications i d like to have open. I have also dropped the laptop couple of times from my couch and no damange on it at all, not even a scratch. Sony Vaio N38E/W

1gb of RAM for my laptop, which has upgraded it too 1.5ghz. The difference is noticeable and am now awaiting the delivery of another 1GB of RAM. Installation is easy, simply unscrewing the back compartment and sliding out the already existing RAM, and replacing it with the newly brought RAM. In conclusion another great product from Sony , looks stylish(mines white) and runs amazingly well even after 2yrs! If thinking about buying, would recommend upgrading the RAM to deal with the newer operating systems available. BUY BUY BUY! ...

Sony Vaio N38E/W

LCD invertor. Sony said they would replace it for me but it would cost almost half the value of the laptop to get it done and I would need to send it to them and it could take a few weeks. I ended up spending £40 and buying one from ebay - it took a week to arrive from America- but it worked - at least for 4 months until it broke again and I had to buy another replacement. The power cable now does not charge properly and you have to angle the plug at the back of the laptop at a certain angle to get it to charge properly. My dealings with Sony were a dreadful experience and they have tainted me against them. Their post-purchase help desk was awful - so now I no longer ...
