Ideal for train journeys! (Sony Vaio TX3HP/W)

Advantages: Size and looks.

Disadvantages: Expensive and cannot compete with the newer small laptops on the market.

I have now had my Sony Vaio TX3HP for nearly two years. When I first bought it people thought it was absolutely tiny, but now as there are smaller laptops available is this one still up to scratch?

Probably not. As the stats show the memory is pretty poor as is the processor. It is also comparitively expensive.

However, mine was purchased for me while at uni and the size of the vaio was absolutely ideal, it can fit in my handbag and is very very light as it is made out of carbon fibre, which very much impressed my dad!

Now that I have moved into the world of work I still appreciate the lightness of the laptop, where possible I prefer to take my vaio on the train rather than the bulky work one.

Another aspect of the vaio which I love is the AV mode. Rather than having to wait for the laptop to boot up I can have a DVD playing on within seconds, again this is perfect for train journeys. My boyfriend has even been known to steal my 'girlie' laptop to watch things on the internet as my volume goes much higher than that of his gaming laptop. Something which he hates to admit!

The battery life on it is absolutely fantastic. Lasting around four hours.

Some moan that it is too small to type on. At first it is a little strange having to get used to a small keyboard, but before you know it, it is strange to use a normal size keyboard!

As far as reliability is concerned it has never let me down. No problems whatsoever.

Summary: Brilliant for carrying around if you only want to browse the internet and word process.
