This laptop was bought in April 2008 for its ultra-light weight and long battery life. I chose Sony as they have an excellent reputation although they are more expensive than other makes of laptop. Having always had ACER laptops i was a little aprehensive about using this at first but i shouldnt have worrie. You can get 9 hours charge if you set up the battery to do so, but will lose performance and much of the 9 hours is if its not used very often i.e. sat idle. The Sony Vaio VGN-NR32S is a solid dependable yet stylish choice. The NR series is the entry level Vaio but you still get a lot for your money. The 2gig of RAM and 200gig hardrive are pretty standard for the money; but the dedicated graphics card makes videos and 3D work run much smoother. The look and feel of the vaio is one of quality.
