i wanted, i.e, a large memory, dual core processor, and a 15.4 inch screen, and then eventually i came across this one. I know a lot of people who own s Sony Vaio laptops, and have had no problems with them, so I decided to go ahead and buy one, as it is good value for money. As soon as I turned it on I fell in love with it. Well, as much as you can love a laptop anyway. I don t want to sound like a computer freak, but this laptop is actually amazing. The screen is really bright, the sound quality is the best, and it loads up everything quickly without freezing or crashing. importantly good sound quality (after horrendously tinny speakers on my previous machine). I spotted this model on a number of websites, and I d heard nothing but good stories about S Sony Vaio laptops. So my next step was to locate it in a store and test it out. And as you will surmise from the fact that I m writing this review, it lived up to my expectations. This Laptop was a replacement for a much more expensive and better built machine (it had the magnesium alloy case) and straight away you notice the plasticky case of this laptop which gives it a feeling of being less robust and of less quality. The casing has now scratched several times and so looks quite shoddy now as the black shows through the silver coating. The specification is reasonable for the price but is certainly not a rocket in computing terms. The screen and keyboard are brilliant and I suppose these are two of the biggest factors you work with on a daily basis plus the trackpad works well and is sensibly positioned in the centre of the space bar so typing ...
