Sony Vaio NW Series VGN-NW20SF/S ... Sony Vaio, at a decent price for once, Sony laptops tend to be priced around the brand name and not the spec which is unfortunate, but this laptop is different. At £556 on Amazon, it would be a great Christmas laptop, birthday, or whatever, it s just lovely. Specification: Laptops can be very similar at this price range, anything above a core 2 Duo (quad core) is going to cost a lot more. This laptop is packing an Intel core 2 duo T6600 running at 2.2ghz with 2mb cache which is perfect. In short, you have a very fast, energy efficient processor. Sony Vaio AW31ZJ/B ... what a laptop, whatever you want to use a laptop for this will do it, and more! the centrino 2 processors are great, smooth, quiet and very responsive, the 6GB memory has no lag what so ever! seamless transitions from program to program. 500GB hard drive is plentyful for this machine. The GeForce graphics in this laptop are a very high standard for a laptop, the difference it makes is remarkable, the quality of pictures and movies is quite special. It runs Vista Home Premium very easily, it would benefit from a Windows 7 upgrade (like all vista machines) but the performance is still second to non. Sony Vaio CS21S/P ... Sony laptop is a good mid-range unit, it doesn t excel at things like gaming but it can hold its own and performs well with say to day tasks such as web browsing, email, creating documents etc. It comes with a lot of RAM and a large HDD so its not something that will be out of date too quickly and you do get your monies worth. The laptop comes in a variety of different colours including pink, red, purple, white, brown and black.
