The Toshiba Satellite Pro series have produced many great value laptops and this is amongst the best. It is visually pleasing, silver with a black trim around the screen and keyboard. The embossed logo on the top of the laptop is very classy and implies quality. The performance confirms this. I run Vista but this laptop is easily capable of running the new Windows 7 to its full capabilities, so an upgrade would be easy. All programs that you could ever wish to run do so fine (although internet explorer can sometimes freeze with many tabs open). I have not attempted to play games on this laptop but it has a Microsoft games rating of 3.8 which is good but not good ...

one , I might better pay a little bit more and get it of someone reliable. The spec was major decision maker however I also researched for a reviews on Toshiba service ( just in case I have to go through it like I had with asus before ) . The spec ( at that time ) was sort of briliant for the price I could have afford. Bought it from Argos, it was delivered very quickly. Easy to set up etc. The cover is shiny ( which I didnt like before) but I cant regret this thought any more - the matt surface ( especially on keyboard) would go shiny, this one is shiny straight away, you need only a cloth to polish it and it looks like new even after 3 years of use by now. I managed to pick up my Toshiba Satellite Pro U400 for free as part of a monthly broadband subscription. This was almost 2 years ago and still I sit here, writing this review, using my ever reliable laptop. This Toshiba is smaller than average, although it is just as robust and performs exactly as it should. Admittedly I don t push the laptop to it s limit. However, I often have plenty of applications open at the same time and "my little Tosh" continues to work away regardless. It has a sleek design, helped in part by it s compact nature.
