excellent creation for us all to enjoy! UPDATE It s been a while since I wrote this review, so I thought I d let you know how my Portege is holding up. Well, for starters, I m typing on it right now. It s been in for a service which I received for free due to my Toshiba extended warranty (well worth getting!!!!) and my once-missing R key has been replaced. I also managed to damage the k,l,n,m, comma and full stop keys (possibly water damage) and they replaced it no query. There was a dead pixel on the screen and I got a whole new screen too. for me that she sent me off to PC World to buy one. What a machine! It has two basic modes of operation - Laptop and Tablet. I'll describe each of them for you, Dear Reader... Laptop Mode This is using the machine like a normal laptop. One opens the case in the normal way and this reveals a normal LCD screen and a keyboard and "scratch card" touchpad. The Power swictch is mounted on the lower left of the screen, and there are a further four buttons along the lower right of the screen which allow one-touch access to the Task Manager, scroll up, enter and scroll down.
