I have had a Qosmio for the past 5 nearly 6 years now and i am very happy to say that it is still going strong.

This one is loaded with the Windows Media Centre and a little USB remote reader which enables you to control TV through the laptop (pause, stop rewind etc just like SKY)

All of your media is also stored in here which makes it very handy at parties/etc because you can just pop a playlist on and control it like you would a hi-fi.

One downside is that the Qosmio is massive. Its not portable at all and i struggled lugging this beast into uni every day for 3 years. Also because of its size battery life is quite honestly shocking, you are lucky to get an hour on the battery, less if you are using it to watch a film/play games on.

However if you want a desktop replacement i cant recommend this machine enough, to the point that i have also brough the more expensive, newer model, the x500 on the back of how good this one was.
