WHAT IS IT?
This is a laptop that is about 4 years old. I am using it now because my own new laptop has had to go to the shop to be repaired because I dropped a cup of coffee into it.
WHAT I THINK
This laptop has got Windows installed onto it but it does not do as much as my own laptop and I am unhappy about that so will be glad when I have got mine back.
The screen size is very good but when the laptop is closed I think it is bulky because it is quite a fat laptop that is not slim.
The laptop is fast to do most things but when I am online it keeps losing the internet connection and sometimes it goes into a freeze and will not do anything unless I take out the battery to kill all of the power to it.
I think the life of the battery is very good for an old laptop like this and it lasts for 2 hours when I charge it up to full. It takes quite a long time to charge but I do not care about that because it is on my desk all of the time so it does not matter if it is plugged in or not.
The mouse pad does not work very well and I have started to use a wireless mouse with it instead because I think the mouse pad makes me make alot of mistakes when it misses a click that I have asked it to do.
My children have played games on this laptop and it works very good for that also.
My husband has told me this laptop cost £350 when it was new but you can buy it only second hand now and I would not do that because I would want a laptop that was more modern to use.

We bought this laptop as a gift for a pre-teen child and were satisfied enough with the outcome, it suited this age category perfect and was excellent value for money and lasted a sustainable amount of time.
We found it easy enough to setup and use, not at all too complicated. As it was bought for a first time computer owner we were happy to see it wasn't easily broken, despite being dropped the very day it was bought. The screen was glare free and 'matte' even when facing direct sunlight, something even my Mac doesn't have. The battery life is decent and doesn't run out easily, even when she was using it to research for hours for school. The large chunky keys make it generally easy to get used to, and the mouse pad isn't excessively sensitive unlike some laptops I've seen, which makes it a pleasant laptop to use for anyone. The pre installed software etc was very useful. We found that the laptop was quite easy to store and didn't deteriorate in condition or battery when it was out of use for any period of time, however it is chunkier than other laptops usually sold today so wasn't the easiest to carry and required a different and thicker bag than we have for our own laptops.
The laptop really isn't uptodate with today's technology standards so was useless and went for very little when we later sold it to get her a better laptop but it proved as an excellent first.
