Toshiba Satellite 35DVD

Well yet another new Laptop by Toshiba! The Toshiba Satellite 35DVD This new laptop has the power though! With a 500MHz processor and 128MB, a 10GB HDD, and a 12.1" (1024x768) screen even comes with Windows ME, You can even watch Dvds with the internal DVD-ROM!! But as laptops are mostly for business men and university students i wouldnt really recommend this one to a home user! If your a home owner and dont have a PC or laptop and are thinking of buying one or the other! Stick with the PC! [Updated 6th Feb 04. Well, this turned out to be a great machine! I am still using it now, nearly 3 years since the first review! The original battery packed up after 12 months and was replaced under wty, as was a flickering TFT display. I have fitted a 20Gb hdd in place of the std. 10 Gb, and am just about to swap that for a 30Gb - probably the largest this system can support. I have also fitted a DVD / CD-r / CD-RW drive in place of the std. DVD / CD drive. I will miss this laptop when if finally dies.
