Rating:
Toshiba Satellite P300D-11I Here is a cheap and budget laptop from Toshiba with good feature in middle range and it is a wise decision to keep this type of laptop in market by Toshiba with sharp ambition. The middle range laptop market is very competitive and it is very difficult to make a popular model in this category because due to war of competition and keeping a good featured model is something less profited deal to any of brand. But Toshiba deals with best and provided very user friendly laptop with good featured brand with consumer friendly price. Discussion point here its some features with some advantages and disadvantages. * Intel processors are slightly costly ...

Rating:
I own the p10-873 version of this Laptop which I initially bought as a semi desktop replacement about 3 years ago. The chassis is the same as the 554 but the processor is 3.2ghz and the graphics card is an ATI radeon mobility 9700 with 64mb of vram. The laptop is able to run windows xp with ease but not Vista as ati never released a driver for the AGP bus, as such the graphics card never installs. The screen is a nice clear 15.4" 1280x800 panel that produces a really good picture. The keyboard and case are sturdy and the touchpad is fast and responsive. The laptop has 3 usb 2.0 ports along with a VGA and tv out. I have had several problems with this laptop ...

when using the battery didn't give much time to plug it into the mains. This has got better under linux, but still can surprise. Bearing in mind that it dates back a few years now, and it's as good as you can expect from an older laptop. Would suit anyone except those who need more horsepower, eg for video. I didn't buy this from Toshiba , so cannot comment on the manuals/support. ...
