im sat here using someone else s laptop as less than 2 months later it is back in the shop again as it started over heating. Toshiba claim it has a software problem and i had to go onto there website and download something, the girl in the shop looked as flabergasted as me when we were told this over the phone by the techno guys! Anyway, iv left it with her to fix as she new i did nt have a clue what they were talking about and she did say she had no idea how some software would fix the over heating but............... The guys (and gals) at Toshiba kindly loaned me a Satellite X200 laptop... not for a full on review, rather for a play with for a month and just let your readers know what you think of it, well here goes. Toshiba Satellite U300-114

The Toshiba Satellite U300-114 is a top of the range laptop computer. The usual high quality that can be expected from a Toshiba product applies here. Bought this to replace my old Toshiba Satellite pro that packed in after about four and a half years. The upgrade is amazing, Intel Centrino core duo, 2 GB RAM and 160 GB hard drive. Also has a DVD writer, very handy for backing up photos ect. My only complaint is Windows Vista, its the bowels of the earth and worse, of course that is not Toshiba s fault.
