Instead of sticking to one colour and making the laptop look boring, Toshiba have made the inside plastics black, making the laptop look very stylish. I find the battery lasts around an hour on average performance although the stated amount is 1.5 hours but I guess that is on very low performance. The screen can very in contrast from very dull and easier for the eyes, or, very bright so you can see everything clearly.
