many many different laptops, I decided to purchase the Toshiba Satellite L40. I can honestly say that I have not looked back since. My decision was a right one, as for less than £400, this laptop is very durable (as proven after dropping it from the couch!), rather handsome, and a relatively long battery life (after a full charge, it will last for approximately 2 hours).
