The Toshiba Satellite L300D-10F is my first laptop. Out of pure excitement, I bought it in a rush and paid £399.99 for it. Being naive, I assumed that it would just be a great laptop and didn t really look around much. Fortunately, I wasn t disappointed and it was exactly what I expected. For the price of the laptop it has great specifications. It has 2 GB ram, which I hear is what you need for vista to run perfectly. The more ram you have the quicker your programs will load. one of these great robust laptops from the good old days. The screen provides a good quality bright image, which works well outdoors. I have been running linux on this Laptop as firstly its free and you can tailor the operating system to run quick and efficiently on a laptop like this one which only has a pentium 2 processor. when I got the laptop it came with windows 98 second edition, this was and still is one of the best and easiest to use operating systems still running.
