I've had this laptop for a few years now and I do like it, but it lacks in certain areas. The sleek design is great, probably one of the nicest looking laptops you can get. The sound is also perfect for a laptop, easily the best sounding laptop I've ever heard. Unfortunately it's performance lacks, and inability to play games (even though the product is supposed to be a good multimedia laptop). It's also a very heavy laptop which can be a problem if you need to be mobile with it. Good RAM, good hard drive size and an easy to use keyboard and mouse system. i have had this laptop for a couple of months now and got it to help me with my university work. i do computing at university, so i found that i need a reliable, cheap and hardworking laptop. this laptop is very fast, excellent at managing different tasks at the same time. Mine comes with a great webcam that i use with all my friends. this webcam is great in low light and loads of light. i find that it works well in both as all the pictures are really clear for a standard webcam on a latop. I purchased my laptop with the OS windows 7 which i was very impressed with. I have had this laptop for a while now and have already had to send it back to Toshiba for repair! When I first got this laptop I thought that it was too good to be true for the price and I was right, maybe it is just my luck but I do not rate this laptop very high. At first with not many files or programmes on it it was a perfect laptop, ran fast and had great Wifi signal, as soon as I downloaded an AVG it started to run VERY slowly. When i buy a new laptop I never know which one to get, with so many choices of brand spec and deals. Ive had hp's ive had Advents, then i came along a deal on the Toshiba Satellite P300D-11I and i have to say one of the best ones ive had. First of all its quick i mean really quickyou click the aplication is open before your finger leaves the touch pad. Iv had nothing but problems with this laptop. Im not too technology minded so i needed something smooth and simple which i wouldn't have any problems with. For the first few days i was fine, simple to navigate my way around the keys and board but then it kept switching itself off. Took it back to the shop and they said it wasn't the laptops fault and the fault lay with vista, ok, well thats no help to me but they sorted it out for me, eventually.
