Keeps over heating (Toshiba Satellite P300D-11I)

Advantages: Was simple to use

Iv had nothing but problems with this laptop. Im not too technology minded so i needed something smooth and simple which i wouldn't have any problems with. For the first few days i was fine, simple to navigate my way around the keys and board but then it kept switching itself off. Took it back to the shop and they said it wasn't the laptops fault and the fault lay with vista, ok, well thats no help to me but they sorted it out for me, eventually.
And now, im sat here using someone else's laptop as less than 2 months later it is back in the shop again as it started over heating. Toshiba claim it has a software problem and i had to go onto there website and download something, the girl in the shop looked as flabergasted as me when we were told this over the phone by the techno guys!
Anyway, iv left it with her to fix as she new i did'nt have a clue what they were talking about and she did say she had no idea how some software would fix the over heating but...............
I shall wait and see what she come's back with and report it if and when it gets fixed.

Summary: I'd like it if it didn't overheat
