Toshiba Satellite L30-113

I have had the Toshiba Satellite L30-113 laptop for 2 years now and it has worked well. I bought it because it was a good offer at PC world for a laptop of that spec. It is not flashy but looks smart in black. The screen is good and clear and bright. The Toshiba onscreen startup processes are a bit longwinded and there is more waiting around for things to load than I would like. It has Vista preinstalled which takes up quite a lot of the HDD space and contributes to the waiting around. I would have preferred XP. I m a teacher and this was the model given out as standard as part of the laptops for teachers initative. It was also available separately for retail. The Laptop has 3 USB ports, modem, network port, VGA, headphone and mic inputs. There is nothing else really and it is a basic setup. Although it is basic is has done a good job of running everything that I have needed out of it. The screen is a basic 15" regular shape (not widescreen) and it isn;t the brightest or clearest but none the less does ok.
