Advantages: Accessible to all
Disadvantages: slightly slow
At work, much to my luck I have recently been using a Toshiba Satellite Pro 4320, at first I was slightly apprehensive as I always am about new things and changes however I was very pleasantly surprised...
The 'machine' is extremely accessible to people of all ages and abilities and is also extremely simple in a helpful way, the product at a first glance looks top of the range and trendy so to speak, however it's simple layout with everything clearly indicated makes it amazingly easy to begin...trust me I am certainly no computer expert!
The advantage however that I would definitely draw upon is the fact that it would still in my opinion suit the most advanced on computers/laptops, as it is so modern and advanced at your own choice.
Mainly I would say that this is an ideal laptop for people on the move, as It’s powered by a mobile Intel Celeron M360 processor and features 802.11bg wireless connectivity. It also packs in a 60GB hard drive and 512MB RAM. This gives a brief idea of the products capability however as I said earlier I am no expert and I would purely like to express my positive experiences with others that may be thinking of buying a laptop.
There are a number of reasons as to why I have found my laptop particularly pleasing; these are more so personal practical reasons than technical ones!
Firstly as I mentioned the laptop is extremely easy to access even by the computer illiterate, the instruction manual was particularly perceive and easy-to-follow. The keys are also very easy to clean, this was a point that I used to find incredibly frustrating on my old laptop. Considering the compact design the laptop has a large screen as I have found that it has an incredibly narrow trim. There are several factors such as these that have genuinely pleased me about this latest model and overall if I were sent to purchase a model I would certainly consider this one seriously as it comes with a huge specification; as an example,
*Battery life: Up to 1:50 hours
*Brand: Toshiba
*Built-in Ethernet connection: 10/100
*CD / DVD optical drive: DVD Spermatic Drive (dual layer) *
*Dimensions: H36 x W331 x D278mm
*Fire Wire / IEEE 1394 ports: No
*Graphics card: ATI Radeon® Xpress 200M
*Graphics card - video RAM: 256MB
*Guarantee: 2 years, to extend to 5 years £209 - click here
*Hard drive: 60GB
*Memory card slot: No
*Model name / number: 4320
*Modem: 56k
All of this comes at an extremely competitive price of £549.00, for assistance the best place that I can probably offer is John Lewis as they offer the model at this price, inc free p+p.
