After researching quire deeply into different laptops to ensure I bought the right one, a friend of mine showed me the details of T Toshiba Satellite Pro 4320. It seemed to tick all the boxes for everything I need to do, both at home and at work. (I am a healthcare trainer so I need to connect a projector with a large amount of information on and need it to be pretty fast to be able to flick through professionally. My review? - It does what it says on the tin! It holds a massive amount of memory, colours are clear and as I use a lot of pictures that came in very well. cd drive, but I tried to connect a dvd drive via usb and play a dvd, but it was really jerky and unwatchable. I think the problem could be the Toshiba only uses usb 1.1, which is much slower than usb 2. Another problem with laptops this old, is the inability to connect modern devices to them. For instance; the Toshiba has only one usb port and infrared (as opposed to bluetooth or wifi). I have used a usb hub with the laptop, but it s just a pain to have to use a hub just to use a usb memory stick and connect to a wifi network (via wifi usb dongle).
